District Updates

OVparks is collaborating with Orangevale-Fair Oaks Community Foundation to bring you The OV Parks Fund. This fund, overseen by a volunteer advisory committee, will track donations, support fundraising efforts, and provide transparency. This fund will support scholarships for our community to be able to participate in classes and programs at OVParks, and park improvement projects.

Program Highlights

Thursday, January 1st

Check-in begins at 12:30pm

Plunge: 1:00pm sharp

Location: Orangevale Community Pool

Take the Plunge and receive your personal “I survived the Polar Bear Plunge” button to wear proudly! PROCEEDS BENEFIT ORANGEVALE PARKS FUND.

New this year-  Polar Bear Plunge will be encouraging plungers to get sponsors to support our new non-profit: the Orangevale Parks Fund!  All money raised will go to provide youth with financial assistance to participate in OVparks recreational programs. 

Classes happening in January

Baby Ballet (Ages: walking- 3y) Mondays at 9:00am

Pre-Ballet (Ages 3-6y) Mondays at 9:30am

Zumbini (Ages 2 months- 4years) Wednesdays at 10:00am

Winter Youth Basketball (2nd- 6th grade)
