With over fifteen years teaching cooking classes, Chef Terry Masten will share professional techniques and tips in hands-on and fast-pasced classes. Young chefs will have fun while learning, guaranteed! Safety is always the #1 priority in each class. Each class consists of hands-on preperation and every chef goes home with recipes from the class. Dietary issues can be accommodated, and no nuts are used in the recipes. Please tie back hair and wear closed toed shoes. *Substitutions of ingrediants may be necessary due to supply shortages and no refunds will be granted.
Bread Workshop: Incredible aromas of bread in the oven, baking away, will fill your kitchen! Whether you serve guests an Artisan Homemade French Bread or a Rich Chocolate Tea Bread, your efforts will pay off in making master recipes to use over and over and over.
Small Plates: Flavor, flavor and more flavors burst from Seasonal Veggie Sauté and Global Meatballs with Two Dipping Sauces you will have fun preparing. Set the table, get ready for compliments galore and empty plates!
Global Sauces: Building a repertoire of sauce recipes is a must for every chef at every skill level. Musts include No Cook Pasta Sauce that is beyond incredible, Sofrito from the Latin cuisine which can become a staple in your kitchen as may a wonderful Chocolate Dipping Sauce.
You Help Me: Help me put together an Italian feast of Winter Bruschetta and Weeknight Pasta Toss -- Fun, full of new tips and techniques ending in a meal like no other you or your guests have ever had. Come hungry and bon appétit!
